LUCILLE

LUCILLE is a very pretty yellow tiger kitty who was brought into the shelter as a stray. She is no longer a kitten, but she is still occasionally energetic and playful. She is curious and likes to get attention, until one of the other cats tries to horn in. LUCILLE will calmly walk away rather than confront the other cat. Unfortunately, her quiet, calm demeanor often causes people to overlook her for one of the more insistant cats.<br/><br/>Lucille was adopted, but returned seven months later when they got a dog. So she apparently does NOT like dogs, but she's ok with children who visit. Although she might rather be an only pet so she gets all of the attention, LUCILLE is young enough, that with proper introduction and patience, she should be able to adapt to a non-aggressive cat, and the children must be old enough to understand what soft pets and no tight hugging means when you have a kitty. It is also important to understand that LUCILLE is not a fan of being picked up. She will struggle to get down and scratches might occur if she is held against her will.<br/><br/>LUCILLE is no longer so interested in climbing your curtains, as kittens often do, LUCILLE is more into playing with toys and getting some love from her family. She has been waiting for a family or person of her very own for almost her whole life!
