Lovely Veronica

Veronica was a dumped cat in the Bronx, and was very clearly pregnant when we rescued her. Fortunately, we rescued her when we did, as she gave birth very soon afterwards. Her kittens are weaned and it is time for Veronica to find her forever.<br/><br/>If we were giving out superlatives, Veronica would be Most likely to be the one you want to cuddle. Veronica is extremely friendly and loving, shes not shy at all. She loves to be held and cuddled, and loves being held. She plays well with other cats but also happy to entertain herself with her toys. Veronica quickly becomes attached to her humans. Shell sleep on your bed but naps wherever- couch, chair. She is curious about your activities and will watch you prepare her breakfast and dinner. Veronica meets us every morning and flops over for rubs. She loves being rubbed under her chin and neck.<br/><br/>Veronica is a confident cat, and settled into her foster home immediately and showed her loving nature. Her fosters report she is by far the easiest and most loving foster they have ever had. Like most cats, Veronica is shy with a new person in the room but hold out your hand and shell come over for sniffs and warms up. Veronica will come over and flop at your feet when she wants your attention. She loves neck rubs and being picked up for hugs.<br/><br/>We estimate her to be only a year old, so it is no surprise that Veronica is an active young cat and plays like a kitten. She loves chasing a laser pointer and is an excellent hockey player with balls. Veronica is mostly quiet but will quietly meow walking around the house when bored.<br/><br/>Veronica is perfect for a family looking for a cuddly pet that loves playtime as well as quiet time. She will hang out with you in the evening- lying on the floor next to you, following you around (especially in the morning). Veronica was very good with her prior foster's grandchildren and will be great with any family. She has never scratched or nipped anyone. She has been with children ages 2 through 5 and loves any human touch. <br/><br/>Veronica would like to be your one and only, so no other cats, please.<br/><br/>Veronica is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative.
