Lou's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm not a part of the CARE foster program. I am listed as a courtesy. My littermates and I were found late July with our mom in a NW Chatham neighborhood. Everyone thought my mom was a feral cat, but she ended up being very friendly. We think someone left her in the neighborhood to fend for herself. The problem with us at first was that no one every touched or spoke nicely to us until we were almost 5 months old. Things sure are different now!

We've been living inside a house with some other foster kittens, 2 adult cats and a dog. BillyLee and I really like it. Our sister Lyra does too, but she hasn't let the people in the house pet and love on her yet like we do. I think she will soon. Every day gets better and better. I like to sit on the lady's lap now! She says I have an awesome purr.

We have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FeLV/IV. Apply for me. I'd be great with another friendly cat to continue learning to trust. You are welcome to call 919-542-1067 for more information.
