Lotus's Story

Lotus is a LOVEbug with a big personality. She is very vocal, loves to make biscuits and is super playful. Some of her favorite things are chasing the laser pointer, playing with the feather wand, and batting around little mouse toys.

She does well with other kitties, although she can be a little hissy when first introduced. Give her a few days to warm up, and she settles right in.

Lotus is very active so I feel she would be fine in a house with kiddos. She has lots of love to give and would be a perfect addition to any family!

Friends of Normie's Adoption Policy
We start with an application. If the application is approved, we then call the applicant. We do a phone interview that lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. If another phone call is needed, we may do multiple. If those two steps go well, we then do a home check and then a supply check to make sure the applicant meets our standards of care. If an applicant passes those steps, we then will set up a meet and greet and see how the applicant does with that kitty. If that step goes well, they are then cleared for adoption and are able to take the kitty home in a carrier (not cardboard box).

Our goal is to save abandoned, stray and unwanted cats and kittens. Marla has been an independent rescuer for over 20 years, and I joined her 3 years ago when I started trapping, TNR, and fostering kittens I saw on the streets.
