Our Mission
Our goal is to save abandoned, stray and unwanted cats and kittens. Marla has been an independent rescuer for over 20 years, and I joined her 3 years ago when I started trapping, TNR, and fostering kittens I saw on the streets. Our goal is to promote spay and neuter, and to save as many cats as we possibly can and providing long term homes. We do not shy away from abused cats, or cats that need medical attention. That's where we thrive.
Adoption Policy
We start with an application. If the application is approved, we then call the applicant. We do a phone interview that lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. If another phone call is needed, we may do multiple. If those two steps go well, we then do a home check and then a supply check to make sure the applicant meets our standards of care. If an applicant passes those steps, we then will set up a meet and greet and see how the applicant does with that kitty. If that step goes well, they are then cleared for adoption and are able to take the kitty home in a carrier (not cardboard box).
