Lottie's Story

Meet Lottie! 🐾

This courageous, petite momma of four was rescued from a warehouse in New Brunswick, NJ, thanks to her devoted caretaker—an employee at the company. Lottie had shown up at the warehouse one day, and the connection was instant. He fed her, cared for her, and showered her with love every day she spent there. She kept him company, often climbing onto his shoulders for cuddles while he worked—earning her the nickname we now lovingly call her, the “parrot cat.”

Eventually, Lottie became pregnant, and her caretaker was extra diligent in caring for her through the pregnancy and birth. She gave birth to four kittens—two of whom were adopted by coworkers. Once the kittens were weaned, her caretaker knew it was time for Lottie and her babies to have safer homes. That’s when he reached out to us via social media for help with their rescue and adoption.

Thanks to our amazing foster network, Lottie is now a happy kitty living with her foster in Union City. She’s incredibly sweet, loves to be petted, and still enjoys using shoulders as her personal cat tree! Her kittens, Sable and Velvet, are being fostered separately and thriving.

Lottie’s journey is a testament to patience, love, and the incredible bond that can form between humans and animals. 💛

Your adoption fee covers the following vet procedures: Deworming, Flea medication (if needed), Rabies and FVRCP vaccines, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, and FIV/FeLV testing.

If you are interested in meeting this sweetheart, submit an application in our website, and get to know them better by checking out our adoptions album https://www.findyourcatpanion.org/our-adoptables/adopt-a-cat

Purrfect Catpanion's Adoption Policy
We are very happy to help you find your next catpanion, please fill out our adoption application below to get started. The next step in the process will be a home visit or a video call, during which we will be looking to assess if the environment is safe to receive a cat. Some things we are looking for: - Windows in every room are secured to prevent the cats escaping. - Is the home ready to receive the kitty: litter box, food & water bowl areas, cat food available, etc. - Are there other pets that could potentially cause harm to the kitty? If other pets are present, they must all be fully vetted (Spayed/Neutered and Vaccinations up-to-date) This is not a 1-step process, we want to make sure the adoption is a purrfect match for everyone involved. All adoptions will incur an adoption fee: $200-$250 Your fee covers all vetting: Vaccinations, Deworming, Flea treatments, Neuter/Spaying, microchipping, etc.
