She didn't trust people, didn't want to be touched, and needed a lot of time to understand that she was safe.<br/><br/>But look at her now. 🥹💕<br/><br/>After 272 days, Loretta is slowly but surely showing us that she does want to connect with people. She will now accept a few gentle pets from people she trusts, and she's becoming much more comfortable when visitors enter her catio room. She'll get up, wander around, check people out, and sometimes even act like she might want some attention.<br/><br/><br/>She may still have plenty of spice 🌶️ and she is definitely not a kitty who wants to be smothered with attention. She will let you know when she has had enough, and her signals need to be respected. But she's learning that people can be okay.That maybe... getting a little bit of love isn't so bad after all. ❤️<br/><br/>Loretta is the kind of cat who makes you celebrate every tiny victory.<br/><br/><br/>She doesn't need someone to rush her or expect her to become a completely different cat.
