Every flower blooms in its own time, and Lorenzo is patiently waiting for the right furrever family to help him truly blossom. Beneath his shy exterior is a bright, playful spirit just waiting to fill a home with light and love. Lorenzo is around 1.5 to 2 years old and came to us from one of our partner shelters on the island. He arrived timid and fearful of people, but he has been making quiet, wonderful progress-one brave little paw step at a time. <br/><br/>While he can still be a little shy with new people, he’s become quite the affectionate guy with his familiar volunteer friends. He happily welcomes pets, purrs up a storm, and gives the sweetest little head bonks to their hands. He’ll even come right to the door of his room to call you in for a visit, ready to spend some time together. With a little time to get to know you, we think Lorenzo will be ready to welcome his special person or family into his circle and share all those sweet purrs and head bonks with them, too. Lorenzo is fun-loving and playful, and he’s always the first to jump into the fun, especially if a wand toy is involved!<br/><br/>Lorenzo is looking for a calm, adult-only home with patient adopters who understand that bonds with shy cats take time to build but are deeply rewarding. He just needs a little time and gentle encouragement to feel safe and let his loving purrsonality shine. Lorenzo adores his feline friends and "must" have a confident, friendly cat in his new home for companionship. He is a healthy boy and uses his litter box well.
