Meet Lola

Just The Facts: Domestic Short Hair; Tuxedo; Spayed Female; Approximate DOB: 2/20/2014; Current Rabies and FVRCP; FIV/FeLV Negative; Microchipped

Here is what her foster volunteer has to say about her:

You would love to meet
Lola
if you ...

- want to share a lot of time with a cat at home

- are looking for a super friendly cat

- want a cat giving you a lot of loves

- love to be woken up by fluffy hands in the morning

Lola has pica, which means she eats and chews on lots of inedible things.

Lola is s
weet, calm, friendly, gentle in nature, and cautious of sounds. She loves people and getting attention from them! She loves being pet especially on her head

, cheek, neck, back.

She is not as happy with being pet around her hind legs or tail.

She has never scratched or bitten when being pet.

She loves to get attention. She is always around us. During the daytime, she sleeps next to my laptop (on a desk) because I'm there most of the time, and she tries to wake us up in the morning to let us pet her!

She likes playing with us! She especially likes string-type toys. It's so happy to see she is very excited to play. Her eyes are very bright when playing! She is not much interested in toys not moving. I turn on an electric laser toy at night so that she is not bored during the night. I think she plays with it at least once a night.

She is usually quiet. She meows once or twice a day quietly and shortly when she has something she wants to say.

When she wants us to open a door, she tries to push the door and makes some sounds.

Lola mostly scratches a cardboard scratcher and a scratch pole.

Occasionally, s

he scratches a rug (all of my foster cats love to scratch this!) and a sofa. I placed a scratch pole on the corner of the sofa, and it becomes better.
Lola
uses her litter box perfectly. She has never failed. poop: once or twice a day, pee: twice or three times a day. She's a very clean girl.

In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt?

She wants love from humans, and she gives a lot of love to humans! When she is pet, she looks so happy. The happy face makes me so happy too. If you are looking for a cat who is friendly like a dog and always loves to be with people, Lola will fit very well!

What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them?

She has pica. When she is bored (or frustrated), she starts to chew things (especially fabrics).

What do you think the cat's ideal living situation would be?

She would like a quiet environment and prefers to be an only cat. Because she loves to be with people and has pica, it would be best if a potential adopter could share a lot of time with her.

Anything else you want to add?

She is very easygoing when she is satisfied (being with people)!
