Lola's Story

From her foster mom, Angel:

Lola is the perfect combination of sweet, smart, and just a tiny bit mischievous.

This beautiful girl loves being around her people and has a knack for making herself the center of attention in the most adorable ways. If she finds herself on the wrong side of a closed bedroom door, don't be surprised to hear a polite little knock. Lola will meow and bump the door with her head until someone lets her in. Once the door opens, she'll often reward you with an irresistible performance that includes flopping onto her side, rolling around, and generally being as cute as possible.

Lola is incredibly clever and learns quickly. She pays close attention to the people around her and quickly figures out what they're trying to teach her. Of course, she also has a playful streak and sometimes decides the rules are more like suggestions. If she gets caught doing something she's not supposed to be doing, she'll often stop immediately and turn on the charm, as if to say, "Who, me?"

She has a calm, easygoing personality but still enjoys interaction and attention. Lola likes to stay close to her people and is happiest when she can be part of the action. She's affectionate without being demanding and has a wonderful balance of independence and companionship.

Lola was originally found alone during a cold spell at an apartment complex in Fort Worth. A kindhearted person brought her inside where she could be safe, warm, and cared for. Since then, she has blossomed into a confident, loving companion who enjoys being part of a family.

If you're looking for a cat with personality, intelligence, and plenty of charm, Lola may be exactly the companion you've been searching for.

Born 11/07/2025

At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
