Loki's Story

Meet Loki, a one-year-old professional cuddler, enthusiastic playmate, and certified Velcro cat who believes personal space is highly overrated.

Loki came to ECPR with a group of nine other cats from Saudi Arabia, and from the moment he arrived, he's made one thing very clear: he loves people. Loki wants to be wherever his humans are, preferably in their lap, on their shoulder, or giving them a face hug.

This affectionate boy loves head boops, rolling around while he purrs, and soaking up as much attention as you'll give him. He's comfortable being held and may even try to climb onto your shoulders for a closer look at whatever you're doing.

Loki also has a big, playful personality. He's high energy and describes his own play style as "crazy," so he'll need a home that can keep him entertained with plenty of toys, enrichment, climbing opportunities, and interactive play. He's not picky about his toys and is always ready for the next adventure.

He's lived with other cats and would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog, although any introductions should be slow and thoughtful. More than anything, Loki needs a family with lots of love, attention, and time to give him. He isn't the type of cat who will be happiest entertaining himself all day.

Loki does have a history of a serious mouth injury, but thankfully, he has made a full recovery. He has some facial scarring and a slight facial deformity, is missing a few teeth on one side, and drools a little more than the average cat. These are simply part of what makes Loki uniquely Loki, and they don't stop him from being the happy, affectionate cat he is today.

Because he loves to grab onto his people during his enthusiastic displays of affection, regular nail trims will be important.

If you're looking for a cat who will follow you around, climb into your lap, hug your face, make you laugh, and keep you entertained, Loki may be your guy. He's ready for a family who will embrace his big personality and give him all the love and enrichment he's been waiting for.

Loki is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
