Loki's Story
Loki was transferred to Valley Humane on 11/3 from the East County Animal Shelter. He is an adult cat (estimated to be aged between 4 and 7 years old) and weighs 10.3 pounds.

During examination, this cat had a mild heart murmur of Grade 2 out of 6. It is possible that this was a transient, stress-induced murmur only that is not caused by clinical disease. There is no indication that this heart murmur is causing any clinical disease and no treatment is recommended at this time. The heart murmur should be monitored regularly by your veterinarian. If the heart murmur were to progress to clinical heart disease your cat could develop clinical signs including weight loss, coughing, exercise intolerance, and difficulty breathing. If these signs should occur, please consult your veterinarian.

Do you have questions about this animal or are you ready to take the next step to adoption?
