LLOYD & HARRY's Story

Meet Lloyd & Harry: The world's smartest kittens...according to each other.

Currently located in: Chattanooga, TN

Adoptable in: ANYWHERE! These bros are absolutely riding the Mutts Cutts Mobile Grooming van to New England the weekend of July 24th!

Good with dogs: Yes, our foster home has kitten friendly dogs!

Good with cats: Yes, as always, a proper slow introduction will be required as with any other kitties being introduced to a home.
Please see link below: https://www.jacksongalaxy.com/blogs/news/the-dos-and-donts-of-introducing-cats

Good with kids: Yes! As always adult supervision is required when kids are playing with kittens!

Litter box trained: Yes!

Meet Lloyd & Harry

There are orange cats...
...and then there are Lloyd & Harry.

These brothers are living proof that the internet wasn't exaggerating when it said orange cats share one community brain cell—they're just not entirely sure whose turn it is to use it.

Lloyd is convinced every cardboard box is a five-star resort. Harry firmly believes every toy mouse deserves a dramatic WWE-style takedown. Together? Well... together they've declared themselves the unofficial Home Inspection Committee. Cabinet open? They'll check it. Laundry basket? They're in it. Making the bed? Congratulations—you now have two orange "helpers" who are absolutely certain you've been doing it wrong this whole time. They approach every day with complete confidence, unwavering optimism, and just enough questionable decision-making to keep life interesting.

Need someone to supervise your shower? Done.
Looking for an audience while you cook dinner? They're already on the other side of the counter, offering moral support.
Trying to fold laundry? That's adorable.
They've decided it's a group activity.

Like all great orange kittens, they're fueled by equal parts curiosity, snacks, and absolutely unearned confidence. One minute they're flying through the house like furry little Formula One drivers, chasing each other around corners and launching into Olympic-level zoomies. The next? They're asleep in a tangled orange cuddle puddle, snoring away like they didn't just treat your hallway like the Indianapolis 500. And despite all the chaos, these boys have hearts every bit as big as their personalities.

When the zoomies are over, Lloyd and Harry become champion snugglers. They melt into your lap, stretch out beside you on the couch, purr loud enough to vibrate the furniture, and remind you that beneath all the orange-cat nonsense are two incredibly sweet little boys who simply love being loved.
They're wonderful with other cats, dogs, and respectful kids, making friends almost as quickly as they make mischief. They've never met a toy they didn't think they could conquer, a sunny window they didn't want to nap in, or a person they didn't hope would stop everything and pet them immediately.

Lloyd and Harry are bonded brothers who've been together since the day they were born, and they're looking for a forever family that appreciates laughter as much as cuddles.

Because life is simply more fun with two orange cats.
Sure, they'll occasionally forget why they walked into a room...
...but they'll never forget to love you.

Lloyd & Harry's Résumé

Strengths:
Professional biscuit makers
Expert lap warmers
Olympic zoomie athletes
Certified cardboard box inspectors
Toy mouse exterminators
Full-time entertainment committee

Weaknesses:
Closed cabinet doors
Empty treat containers
The mysterious red dot
Understanding personal space
Taking life too seriously

Special Skills:
Making you laugh every single day
Falling asleep in impossible positions
Looking innocent immediately after causing absolute chaos
Stealing your heart before you even realize it happened
Two brothers.
Two giant hearts.
Approximately one orange brain cell.
Unlimited love.

All they have to say is:
"We've got no food... we've got no jobs... our toys heads are falling off!"

But we promised them the most awesome home... with unlimited movie marathons!

"So you're telling me there's a chance!" Is what we are hearing you say?

If you think you are the right home for them, please apply to adopt here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScq8ShXPVGLfrGHlIYMk0plgI_PJxOEMdr8QItpQMXYCnluvg/viewform

Our adoption fee is $650! We do not accept deposits or the adoption fee until you have met your new fur babies and are ready to bring them home.

Important Information:
All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their furever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines (age appropriate), dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped!

You must be an approved adopter in order to go on meet and greets. This saves everyones time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose.

We are very quick to respond and process applications! All animals are posted until they have gone home to their new family. This animal may have other interested adopters in line. Please apply quickly and be prepared to welcome them into your home within a few days if you are interested.

The Adoption Process:
After our volunteers receive the application, they contact the potential adopter to set up an interview. During the interview they will:
discuss the animal the adopter is applying to adopt,
talk to the adopter about their experience with animals,
find out more about the type of animal the adopter is looking to adopt,
go over any questions the rescue may have regarding your application,
help find the perfect fit for the adopter's family and lifestyle,
and answer any questions the adopter has about the animal they are looking to adopt, the rescue, and how the adoption process works.

As part of the approval process, we require 2 non-family personal references. Our volunteers contact both references and have conversations regarding the potential adopter. If we are unable to reach the references provided, additional references may be requested. We also require a vet check. We will call the vet to conduct a short reference check.

A video walk-through of the adopter's home (and yard, if adopting a dog) is also required. The safety of our animals is one of our top priorities. They deserve to have a safe and secure place to live. The video can be sent to the Whiskers Fund email address or Facebook messenger upon submitting your application. When submitting the video, please reference which animal(s) you are applying to adopt.

Once the adopter is approved and matched with an animal, we will make arrangements for the animal to go to their new home. We hope to have each animal in their new home within a week. We are very clear that we will be keeping in touch and checking in for updates.

Interested in Fostering?
We would love to have you join our family! Fill out the same application above- we have our fosters go through the same process as adopters!

Questions?
Please email whiskersfunds@gmail.com or message us on facebook!

Thank you for helping to save lives!
