Lloyd's Story

Lloyd

Introducing Lloyd! He is a big, strappin', majestic boy who weighs in at just a bit shy of 16 pounds. He has a brilliant black coat and brilliant golden eyes. He is 4 years old.

Lloyd was a homeless cat who was wondering a mobile home parking looking for food. That is all behind him now. He spent some time in a foster home and his foster mom tells us:

"Lloyd will snuggle into your lap, but if he gets overstimulated, he can get a little nippy. When he was first rescued, he was quick to head butt and rub his head on you for attention, but sometimes acts fearful. H was in very rough shape when he first came to foster. The fur on his head was mostly gone because he'd been badly beaten up by other cats. He also had multiple scratches all over his body. He is an extraordinarily nice cat who carries scars, both physically and emotionally.

Lloyd has come a long way. Initially, he was very easily startled. He has calmed down a lot, but can be startled if you move too quickly."

Lloyd will do best in a home as an only cat. He will be a most loyal and constant companion for some very lucky person. He is happily accepting visitors!

Lloyd has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, viral tested and microchipped.

***

We are currently conducting in person adoptions on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5pm (walk-ins welcome, but appointments prioritized).
