Lizzy's Story

Meet Lizzy!
* A little lady with a big heart, a playful spirit, and the cutest “quack” you’ve ever heard. *

This beautiful seal point girl has mastered the art of balancing affection and independence. Lizzy adores being petted and spending time with her people, often chatting away in her signature short, duck-like meow that’s guaranteed to make you smile. Whether she’s curled up beside you for a cozy nap or keeping you company around the house, Lizzy brings a calm, comforting presence to any home.

Don’t let her laid-back nature fool you—Lizzy still has a playful side! She’s especially attached to her beloved scratch pad toy (her “baby,” as we like to call it ), and she lights up for wand toys and her favorite Catnip Meowtini. That said, she’s also a proud couch potato who believes in the importance of a good cat nap—preferably near her favorite human.

Lizzy’s journey hasn’t been easy. After being found injured as a stray, she was lovingly cared for by the incredible team at Angel Paws Veterinary Services, where she underwent a leg amputation and made a remarkable recovery. Today, she’s a resilient tripod kitty who moves through life with grace and quiet strength, ready to share her love with a family of her own.

Lizzy would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can enjoy attention, gentle affection, and the freedom to take little breaks when she needs them. She’s wonderfully communicative and will let you know when it’s time for cuddles—or when she just needs a moment to herself. In return, she offers deep companionship, sweet moments, and a heart full of trust.

** Lizzy needs a quiet, indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a family who will give her lots of love, attention, and playtime. **

Lizzy would prefer to be the only cat in the home, but her foster mom thinks that she could adjust to another cat who would give her space. We aren’t sure how she is with dogs. She does well with respectful, older children and she is litter box trained.

Ready to open your heart to a very special girl?
