Little Miss

Little miss was a momma cat that lived outside her entire life before she came to us. When she was found, she was living underneath a car and looked extremely sick and tired. It turned out she had just had a litter of kittens, and several of her babies were found dead in the street. Later on down the road she got pregnant once again, so some great people decided it was time to earn her trust and get her inside. She was TERRIFIED at first, but over time, she learned to accept love. Once she had her babies she became a sweet momma who craved love and attention even though she was still scared sometimes. <br/><br/>Little Miss is a 2 year old tabby with a unique personality. It takes her a while to adjust to her new surroundings because of her past, but once she does she's a doll and wants your attention and love for extended periods of time. She's terrified of dogs and other cats scare her (she used to have to fend them off on the streets) so she prefers to be the queen of her castle. She LOVES treats, food and string/ feather toys so that's the best way to initially gain her trust. When food is around, she'll allow you to pet and pick her up without being cranky. Once she's warmed up to you she'll let you pet her for long periods of time! She will even allow you to pick her up after being pet for a while. But with her being a highly sensitive girl she's more comfortable being loved on the ground. She's a work in progress but in time I'm sure she'll enjoy being in your arms. While you're petting her she'll gaze up and look at you showing love and appreciation. It's a great feeling when she does that as you know that she's comfortable around you and is completely in love with you. She's a highly sensitive girl so you do have to approach her slowly. We may not know all of Little Miss' history but it's apparent it wasn't a pleasant one. All she wants is for someone not to give up on her and accept her for who she is. She's a very lovable girl that's shy and needs to be in a quiet environment with no pets or younger children. Will you give Little Miss a chance and provide her with the forever loving home she's never had and wants?
