Little Man's Story
Meet Little Man!

And yes, Little Man is his actual name-because after nearly a year of being lovingly cared for by a kind temporary caregiver, nobody ever came along to give him another one.

Little Man, an 8-year-old fluffy white-and-black gentleman, recently arrived at Homeward Bound with his longtime companion, Little Girl.

Their story is a little heartbreaking.

A kind person agreed to take these two in temporarily when their owner had an urgent health situation. They expected their owner to return once things settled down.

But they never did.

Their caregiver reached out again and again, hoping to reconnect, but after nearly a year, it became clear that these two needed a new plan. She loved them and had cared for them for months, but ultimately knew she couldn't keep them permanently.

So Little Man and Little Girl came to Homeward Bound-together.

And now we're hoping they can find something wonderful:

A home together.

Because Little Man? He's pretty much the definition of an easygoing gentleman.

He's calm, well-mannered and talkative, and his caregiver says he will "tolerate anything." He likes men, women and seniors, enjoys his scratching post and seems to be perfectly happy just hanging out with his people.

He's fluffy. He's handsome. He's got things to say. And he's got approximately zero interest in unnecessary drama.

8 years old
Fluffy white-and-black coat
Calm & well mannered
Talkative
Loves his scratching post
Happy around men, women & seniors
And apparently willing to "tolerate anything"!

But here's what makes him even more special:

Little Girl is his friend.

They've already been through a lot of change together. Wouldn't it be amazing if the next chapter of their story could be written together, too?

If you're looking for two cats who already know each other, enjoy having feline companionship and are ready to settle into a loving home, come meet Little Man and Little Girl.

Two cats. One fresh start. One loving home.
