Little Dude - Mini House Panther

Meet Little Dude! This little guy is the dude. He is a super affectionate kitten that is becoming quite the lap cat and he will purr like a chainsaw when he is happy. The Dude will run and play like any young kitten, but also enjoys snuggling in quieter moments. He is currently being fostered with another kitten, Tom Foolery, and they are becoming good buddies.<br/><br/>Little Dude was brought to a local shelter with a badly injured front paw when he was 6 weeks old. The shelter put out a plea for help, and SCP was able to pull him and place him in a foster home where he could get the care he needed. Dudes paw healed up after a few weeks of treatment; however, he lost his paw pad and it will not grow back. He will always have a special lucky paw that will be a little bit different. But this setback has not slowed the Dude down. He is learning to adapt and use his paw in ways that work for him. <br/><br/>The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058).
