Lisa's Story
Meet Lisa! At 8 months old, while most kittens are bouncing off the walls, Lisa prefers the finer, quieter things in life--like a warm lap and a steady stream of human affection. She is a beautiful observer who loves to keep to herself, quietly watching the world go by until a human walks into the room. The moment you approach, her inner cuddle-bug shines, and she is instantly ready for chin scratches, head pats, and quality bonding time. While she isn't the most playful kitten in the bunch, she more than makes up for it with her gentle, loving nature and devotion to her people. Due to her young age, if Lisa is going to be the only cat in her new home, she will need a household where someone is home most of the time to keep her company and give her the interaction she craves. Because Lisa appreciates her peaceful downtime, she is looking for a forever home that matches her gentle vibe. She would do wonderfully in a home with children aged 5 and older who know how to be gentle and respect a cat's boundaries when she needs a little space to recharge. Lisa is willing to share her castle with another feline friend, but she has a more independent side and takes her time warming up to other cats. She will need a slow, patient introduction to any resident cats to help her feel secure. A calm, cat-friendly dog would probably be okay too, though she will need plenty of time and patience to warm up to them as well. Lisa is proof that sometimes the best things in life come in quiet packages, and she is ready to bring her gentle spirit and endless affection to a family who will cherish her exactly as she is. Lisa's adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
