Meet Lira!<br/><br/>Lira is a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell tabby, approximately 3 years old, who has just finished raising her five kittens and is now ready to enjoy life as someone’s spoiled companion.<br/> <br/>She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and people-focused. Lira loves attention and happily soaks up pets and companionship from her humans.<br/> <br/>Right now, Lira is protective and defensive around other cats while she is still caring for her babies — a very normal mama behavior. Once her kittens are fully weaned and her hormones settle, her feelings toward other cats may change. She listens well and can be redirected quickly, even when she gets a little worked up.<br/> <br/>Lira has a playful side too! She enjoys wrestling with her kittens, zooming around the house, and chasing teaser toys. With time and proper introductions, she may enjoy having a feline friend to play with.<br/> <br/>After being such a devoted mom, Lira is ready for a loving forever home where she can finally be the one getting all the attention she deserves.<br/><br/>Adopting a cat from our rescue includes several important health services.
