Their mom was rescued while very pregnant and brought to a foster home where she could have her eight kittens in safety and comfort. She was a wonderful, devoted mother — and now that her babies are grown, it's time for Lionel and Zora to find the family they deserve.<br/><br/>Zora is the independent spirit of the litter — the cat who does things on her own terms and is perfectly content with that arrangement. You'll often find her sleeping away from the pile of kittens, charting her own course and thoroughly enjoying it. She is loving and gentle, but not clingy — a cat with a quiet confidence that is genuinely refreshing. If you have a busy life and long days away from home, Zora will greet you warmly and lovingly when you return, but she won't hold the absence against you. She saves her greatest enthusiasm for the outdoors, where she loves to explore every inch of the world available to her.<br/><br/>Lionel is pure joy in kitten form — a bundle of energy, curiosity, and love that approaches life like Indiana Jones approaches ancient temples: boldly, enthusiastically, and first. He was the first kitten out of the house, the first to summit the garage roof, and the first to catch a mouse. No door is safe from his cunning and speed — consider yourself warned. But here is the beautiful contradiction at the heart of Lionel: all of that boundless adventure eventually gives way to the deepest, most satisfying sleep you have ever witnessed in a cat. And his preferred sleeping spot? Your lap. The great explorer, it turns out, just wants to come home.<br/><br/>Because Lionel and Zora share a deep love of the great outdoors, these two are looking for an indoor/outdoor home with a safe outdoor space where they can explore to their hearts' content. They have been fostered with dogs and would do fine with a cat-friendly pup. They would also do well with children who know how to be gentle with animals.<br/><br/>One follows her own path. One blazes a new one every single day. Together, Lionel and Zora are ready for the adventure of finding their forever home.<br/><br/>Their adoption fee is $250. <br/><br/>Lionel and Zora were born on 5/7/26. They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.<br/><br/>We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.<br/><br/>We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.<br/><br/>When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?<br/><br/>All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them.
