LIONA #1884 - Offered by Owner - Soft 'n Gentle's Story

Liona, 18 months old, was originally an indoor cat and was comfortable living inside (as you can see in her photos). Unfortunately, after being rehomed, her new owner went through a difficult emotional period, and Liona has spent the past couple of months mostly outdoors. This change hasn’t reflected who she truly is—she is happiest and most at ease in a safe, indoor environment.

On behalf of my adult son, I am helping find Liona a loving new home. Due to a difficult separation, he has been struggling with depression and is no longer able to give her the care and attention she deserves.

Liona is a very sweet, quiet, and gentle kitty. She may be shy at first, but she has a tender, loving nature and so much potential to blossom. With a little patience and a calm, stable home, she will grow into a loyal and affectionate companion.

While she has been outdoors recently, Liona would truly thrive as an indoor cat again, where she can feel safe and secure. She has experience being around children and did well, according to her previous owner. Her experience with dogs or other cats is unknown, so a slow introduction—or a quieter home—may be best.

Liona deserves a peaceful home where she can feel safe, loved, and given the time she needs to come out of her shell. If you’re someone who appreciates a gentle, quiet companion and are willing to let her grow at her own pace, Liona could be the perfect match. Leona lives in Portland and her rehoming fee is $50.

This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
