The Hero of Hyrule has arrived. <br/><br/>My name is Link and yes, I am brave and determined just like the heroic character who shares my name. A concerned resident brought me to the shelter after she found me wandering around her apartment complex, emaciated and sickly. I am a sweet boy who is always ready to embark on a new adventure (sometimes a little TOO ready). <br/><br/>When I am feeling curious, I will dart away to explore my environment which means my new family will need to keep an extra close eye on me as I settle into the home. A busy household with frequent visitors is likely not the best placement for me as I am still a young lad who doesn't know not to bolt out the front door. I enjoy scratches and head rubs but can be a bit temperamental after excessive affection and handling. After a good play session, it is best to give me some space to decompress and avoid long periods of holding. For this reason, the staff feels I am best suited for a home without small children. As a warrior who was forced to fend for himself outdoors, I haven't always had the best relationship with other animals and tend to be a bit defensive. In the future I may be able to live with another cat would prefer to start out as the only pet in the home. Definitely no dogs for me though!
