Linda Jo's Story

Linda Jo is a mix of inquisitive, feisty, and sweet. The tortitude is real. She fought through severe injuries with two broken legs as a baby, and she brings that same tenacity to everyday life. If you want a loving, but also wild child kitten in your life, this little girl is ready to meet you. She is 10 months old, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and kept on monthly preventatives. She is small at currently about 5 ½ lbs.

Linda Jo enjoys racing around the house, and then being carried once you follow along to find her. She is often known to dart through doors as part of this game, so secure exterior doors are a must. She lives for the attention of her people. Linda Jo currently lives with several other cats and dogs, and she is comfortable with new people and car rides. They eat separately so that everyone gets the right amount.

Because she was injured young and raised inside ever since, Linda Jo must be indoor only for her own safety. It doesn’t slow her down much, but her hind legs are not completely straight and she does walk with a gait abnormality. She had some GI issues during recovery that have improved greatly, and only need monitoring at this point. It will be important for her not to become overweight as that would put more strain on her back legs.

Here is a breakdown of our adoption process:

1. Initial meeting
2. Home visit with the animal
3. Finalize paperwork
4. Adopt a lifelong friend and family member!

You can set up a time to meet by inquiring on Petfinder or emailing us at foundtreasurear@gmail.com.
