Linda's Story

Meet Linda: Bob's Slightly Disheveled Sister and Full-Time Hot Mess.

If you've ever looked in the mirror after a long nap and thought, "Well... we're just going with it," you'll understand Linda.

At around 68 years old, Linda has reached the point in life where appearances are... optional. Her fur has a permanent "I woke up like this" vibe, and unlike the glamorous cats on social media, she has absolutely no interest in pretending otherwise. She is, in the most lovable way possible, delightfully scruffy.

Like her brother Bob, Linda once had an indoor home. Then her family moved away and left the siblings behind to survive on their own. Thankfully, a caring neighbor stepped in, making sure they had food and eventually getting them the veterinary care they desperately needed.

That's when everyone discovered what Linda had been quietly living withher teeth were in terrible shape and had to be removed. She's now proudly rocking the same toothless smile as her brother.

No teeth?
No problem.

Bad hair day?
Every day.

Linda has simply decided that beauty standards are overrated.

Underneath the permanently tousled fur is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet. She's gentle, affectionate, and incredibly easygoing. She loves people, enjoys a cozy place to nap, and has absolutely no interest in causing trouble. She's the type of cat who would rather quietly keep you company than demand the spotlight.

She and Bob have survived abandonment, hunger, and years of neglect, yet somehow they both came out the other side believing people are still worth trusting. That's pretty remarkable.

Linda may never have perfectly brushed fur or a dazzling Hollywood smile, but she has something far more importanta heart that's overflowing with love and just waiting for a family to appreciate her exactly as she is.

If your idea of perfection includes a slightly frazzled little grandma with permanent bedhead, a gummy grin, and enough sweetness to melt your heart, Linda is ready to prove that sometimes the most beautiful souls come in the messiest packages.

Adoption fee is $150
Adoption applications available at rpaw.org
