Lily's Story

Meet Lily! This sweet girl was found outside in Boston on a cold March day, heartbreakingly thin and clearly having a hard time surviving on her own. Despite everything she'd been through, Lily wasted no time showing us what a loving, trusting cat she is. She greeted her rescuers with gentle affection and have been winning hearts ever since.

Lily can sure be a "Velcro cat" as she absolutely loves hugs and pets, evening snuggle sessions and following her person around. She is quite playful but can also keep herself occupied with some toys and gentle zoomies. While she likes to chat with her person, her soft meows are charming rather than constant. She will jump up onto the bed to snuggle but generally she enjoys life from the floor.

Lily gets along well with other cats who share her laid-back outlook on life and we think she will do well with calm, respectful dogs and cat-savvy children. Her dream home is a cozy one where she can spend her afternoons napping in a sunny spot and her evenings curled up to her favorite human.

Lily is being fostered in Medford while she waits for her forever home.

Lily is approximately 8 years old, she has been spayed, combo negative (FIV-/FeLV-) and up to date on all her vaccines.

Adoption fee is $200
