Lily's Story

Lily is a princess kitty! She's lovely, sweet and (currently) a somewhat lonely lady dreaming of a new best friend.

Lily came to the shelter after her beloved owner passed away. At 13 years old, she is looking for a loving retirement home that will enjoy her company. She has hyperthyroidism, but it's well-controlled with an easy medication. She is very tolerant with some staff, others not as much, but the shelter is nothing like the a home and Lily doesn't love the busy, fast-pace environment! Lily does love Churus though. She's hoping for a home with Churus...

If you are interested in our precious little Lily, give us a call at 603-472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions.

Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire's Adoption Policy
All adoptions are done on an appointment only basis, for specific animals. No animals have multiple families visiting them at one time, this wouldn't be fair to them or for you. Because of this, we do not book out appointment more than 24-48 hours in advance. We are CLOSED for browsing at this time to keep the stress level of the animals in our care as low as possible. Thank you for your understanding! We DONT have online applications, we prefer to have a open line of communication with our potential adopters. Our process is more educational based. Our adoption counselors will be able to tell you if the animal you're interested in will be able to go home the same day. Visit rescueleague.org to view our adoptable pets and call 603-472-3647 to schedule an appointment!
