She's affectionate, fearless, endlessly entertaining, and always looking for her next great adventure. If you've been searching for a cat who will keep you laughing while filling your home with love, Lily just may be your perfect match.<br/>Before coming to DPS Rescue, Lily proved she was more than just a pretty face.<br/>When she and her kittens found themselves in a dangerous situation inside an abandoned warehouse, Lily did what only an incredible mother could do. She protected her babies until a kindhearted person discovered them and brought the little family to safety. Thanks to her bravery, every one of her kittens was given the chance to grow up and find loving homes.<br/>Now that her job as 'Super Mom' is complete, Lily is officially accepting applications for her new position:<br/>Professional Family Entertainer.<br/>Her foster mom absolutely adores her and says Lily has one of the funniest personalities she's ever fostered.<br/>One of Lily's favorite hobbies?<br/>Balancing.<br/>On things.<br/>All kinds of things.<br/>The top of the couch?<br/>Perfect.<br/>A narrow shelf?<br/>Challenge accepted.<br/>If there's an object that seems just a little too small to comfortably stand on, Lily immediately sees it as a personal invitation.<br/>Apparently, balance beams aren't just for Olympic gymnasts.<br/>She approaches life with complete confidence, convinced she can climb it, jump on it, investigate it, or somehow make it more interesting.<br/>Spoiler alert...<br/>She usually does.<br/>Lily has that wonderful combination of curiosity and confidence that makes every day entertaining. Lily is friendly, social, and genuinely enjoys spending time with her people. She's the kind of cat who wants to be involved in whatever is happening around the house, whether that's supervising dinner, helping you work from home, or simply lounging nearby while you relax.<br/>Her foster home includes both cats and dogs, and Lily has settled in beautifully. She also has the kind of easygoing personality that would make her a wonderful addition to a family with respectful children. IMPORTANT: Do NOT submit a Petfinder "Start Your Inquiry" form—these inquiries are not reviewed and will delay the adoption process. If we feel there may be a match, our Interview Team will contact you. If we mutually agree to move forward, we'll arrange a meeting at our Palo Alto location. A $50 deposit (applied toward the adoption fee) is required to reserve the first opportunity to meet.
