Lily's Story

Lily is the very definition of a chill cat. Her hobbies include being pet, being cuddled, napping in suspiciously soft places, and supervising the neighborhood through a sunny window. If she looks grumpy, don't be fooled -- that is just the way she looks . Underneath the permanent 'displeased aunt at brunch' expression is an exceptionally sweet cat who is almost never actually upset.

Lily is an easygoing, affectionate companion for children and adults alike whose only real flaw is that her paws are deceptively tiny and somehow feel like stilettos when she steps directly on your ribs. She is so polite and demure that she will gently indicate which hand you should be petting her with, then stare at you expectantly while waiting for formal permission to join you on the couch.

Lily objects to being picked up and dogs. The moment her paws leave the ground, she forgets she is a cat entirely and transforms into a loudly protesting bowling ball with fur. She has demonstrated an intense dislike of her foster's little silly dog and was reactive to his presence.

Despite being delightfully chunky, Lily is not food obsessed. She mostly grazes like a free feeder, ignores human food completely, and enjoys the occasional treat puzzle when she feels intellectually ambitious. She likes catnip well enough, but most toys are beneath her interests. Lily also has impeccable litter box manners.

Lily previously lived with another cat that was not always smooth. She did not like to play with her sibling and had to deal with resource guarding from her sibling. She may do better as a solo cat.
Please visit https://felinerescue.org/all-cats/ to learn more about me and where I am located!
