Lily's Story

I am Lily and I have been here at the shelter since last July 24, 2020 and I was only 10 weeks old. I am 4 years old now. I am very beautiful. I love to play with my cat toys. I do love head scratches and to be rubbed on my head and around neck and back. I just do not want to be picked up and held. I like to do what I want to do. I sleep behind the desk or in one of the three cats beds in the office. I will talk to you if I hear you or see you come into the cat office. I live out of my cage and just around in the cat building. I need to be your only fur child because I have started picking on other cats here at the shelter. I have been here an awfully long time and I sure need a loving family. Around here I am so happy to just be around to help with the office stuff. I just do not want to be picked up and held. I know my name and when you call my name I will call back to you and just talk and talk. I will then come to you for a head scratch and rub. You might ask " Lily how was your day?" and I might reply " Wonderful, how was your day and please give me a cat ball to play with or how about a can of cat food of my own." If you do not feel like you would want me in your home how about your barn or shop or shed? I am not picky anymore. I want my own home. If you feel like I could be a good addition to your family Please Go to : heberspringshumanesociety.com and fill out an application to visit me and maybe adopt little me. I am growing up here and everyone thinks I need my own family and home. Lily

Lily's adoption fee is $75 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Please fill out an adoption application at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 business days. The adoption application is NOT on Petfinder. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.
