🐾 Hi there… I’m LiLi. 🐾 My real name is Lilly, but my foster Meowmy calls me LiLi—she says it fits my sweet, soft little spirit. I’m about 2 years old, and my journey hasn’t been the easiest. I came from a hoarding case, which means the world was a really big and confusing place when I first arrived in foster care. I wasn’t sure who I could trust… so I learned to be shy, quiet, and careful. But guess what? With time, patience, and love, I discovered something amazing: being petted feels really good. Once I get to know you, I lean in, close my eyes, and soak up all the gentle affection I missed out on for so long. I may not run to the door yet, but I will blossom for the person who sees my heart. I also get along wonderfully with other Kit Kats—having feline friends makes me feel more confident and at home. I’d love a forever family where another friendly kitty can show me the ropes and keep me company. ✨ If you’re the kind of human who loves quiet companionship, soft paws, slow blinks, and watching a shy girl bloom into her true self… I’m waiting for you. United Paws Rescue Inc's Adoption Policy

First we make sure that the adopter is a proper match for the cat, through conversations with their foster parent and/or a meet and greet. We are very careful to match the personality of the cat with the personality of all other humans and animals in the home to ensure a smooth transition for both the cat and the adopters. Then, the adopter fills out the application- if they pass the home and vet checks they proceed to a short phone interview. If approved, they pay their adoption fee and can take the kitty home that same day.
