Lilac's Story

Hi, I'm Lilac! I love to play and explore every nook of my cozy shelter home. I'm known for my sweet nature and friendly purrs that greet everyone who visits. I adore playing with toys and snuggling up after a fun day. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all my love and playful adventures. If you're looking for a charming companion to fill your days with joy and playfulness, I'm the perfect match for you!

Note from Paws humans: Lilac lived with a family for almost a year until they were moving out of state. They decided they didn't want to take Lilac with them, so they asked us to take her in, which we obviously did. She's such a sweet, beautiful cat that we can't imagine leaving her behind. She would be a wonderful addition to any loving family dedicated to giving her a forever home. To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.

Paws Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

We do not do same-day adoptions, as we have an adoption application which must be completed and verified. We do not allow declawing of any of our animals even after they are adopted, and you must sign a contract agreeing to this (we sometimes take cats in who have already been declawed). We also require that all of the cats and kittens adopted from us must be kept exclusively indoors.
