Holiday Feature- Lila! Foster or Foster to adopt home needed Lila is a very sweet 3 year old girl who has been through more than she should at her young age! This sweet girl came to us last August with a severe abdominal wound — but after multiple surgeries, treatments, and months of healing, she's made a full recovery. After several months she moved into a new home and has been enjoying the good life, resting and loving sitting in the big window. Sadly Lila has not made the progress she needs to safely travel to Florida for the winter, although her family has tried for months to get her comfortable in the car/carrier. Lila is now searching for a quiet, loving, non traveling family where she can truly thrive. Lila is extremely loving and enjoys curling up on your lap in the evening. She loves spending her days watching the birds out the window and playing with her feather toy! Lila is also a big fan of the toilet paper! Adoptions are limited to a 500 mile radius of Pulaski, NY and pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption in the foster home (foster homes are in Jefferson, Oswego or Onondaga Counties); animals will not be shipped to their new homes. All Creatures Big And Small, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

All animals accepted into our program are in volunteer foster homes. Since we don't have a shelter building, meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. The first step in our adoption process is filling out an adoption application and calling your current/previous veterinarian to say it's ok to release veterinary information to us. Within 48 hours of receiving the application, we will do the veterinary reference check and contact you for additional information and to do a phone interview. If all goes well, a meet and greet is scheduled. All family members must come to the meet and greet (including dogs) to make sure it is a good match and everyone is on board to adopt a new pet. If it is decided that the pet is a good match, an adoption can be done at that time and the pet can go home with you All adopters must live within 500 miles of Lacona, NY. We will not ship pets and all family members, including dogs, must travel to the adoption to be sure the pets and family are good with the potential new adoption.
