Lila's Story

Lila is a girl's name of Arabic origin meaning "night; play." The name Lila is also a female name of Persian origin that means "Lilac Tree." Also a Hebrew name, meaning "you are mine" or "night."

Well, "play" certainly describes this little girl! She loves, LOVES to play. And we're happy to see her blossom after the rough start she had in life. Doggy Lily is her best friend at her foster home!

Don't you just love her eye liner? She even has those "sad eyes" of a Precious Moments collectible porcelain figurine.

Lila is a bicolor cat, with a coat consisting of one primary color combined with white. The amount of white can range from only a tiny streak, or spot, to nearly the entire coat. Lila is considered high-grade: more than 60% of her coat is white. There is also a consistency in the order and location of white spotting as the amount increases.

Cap-and-Saddle is what Lila's pattern is called. Her colored “mask” shrinks into a “cap” over the top of the head, and the color shrinks into a “saddle” on the lower back area.
