Lightning's Story

Lightning is a handsome 4 year old tuxedo kitty with an incredible story to go along with him! This guy was abandoned and spent a year isolated in an apartment with minimal human interaction. The caretakers didn't know where to turn, and eventually got in touch with us. Ultimately, Lightning left that apartment terrified and shut down, we knew there would be a journey ahead. We thought he would need long-term socialization support. But a few weeks in, he did a total 180, surprising us all! An incredible turnaround for Lightning. He's a very sweet cat, and loves his people. We aren't sure how he'll do with other cats at this point, and would likely be very happy as an only cat. Lightning is a great companion kitty, and we can wait for him to start his next chapter, in a loving forever home!
