Lido

From his current owners: Lido is a 5 year old, adorable, cream colored Persian and we adopted him when he was 6 months old. He is still very playful, and at times can be very sweet and loving to us. Unfortunately, he also has some behavioral issues. Lido can be aggressive and has bitten on several occasions. His aggressive outbursts happen when he is overstimulated (too much petting), when strangers come into our home, and also when attempting to do any grooming. He needs to be fully sedated when groomed, as he will not let anyone brush or trim his hair. He has however, let us give him a bath, which has always baffled us. When he is eating, we are also able to do a little grooming as far as cutting out mattes but nothing longer than a minute or so. He does give warning signs before becoming aggressive, which has helped us to redirect and prevent it most of the time. This has been challenging for us over the years, but we’ve learned to work around his personality and have grown to love him.
