Licorice's Story
Meet Licorice! Licorice came to CCHS when found as a stray in the Chili area. Licorice was a pretty sick little kitten when he arrived at the Shelter, being very underweight with a bad upper respiratory infection. But Licorice received all the treatment needed to make him better, and now he's doing great! He's living in Kitty City at the Shelter and is enjoing sunshine and happiness. Through all his treatment, he never gave up on his positive attitude. Licorice is now 7 months old (estimated DOB 6/11/25) and weighs over 5#. He's handsome with his all-black coat and and golden eyes. If you're looking for a loving new friend, please consider Licorice and apply to adopt him today!

Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for FeLV/FIV. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.
