Lia's Story
Lia is available through our Barn Cat Program and are looking for a place to call home! We would like Lia to be adopted with another one of our Barn Cats or placed on a property that already has resident working cats.

Our Barn Cat Program is designed for under-socialized cats who may not enjoy life as traditional house pets but thrive when given space, purpose, and a safe outdoor environment. In return, they can help keep rodent populations in check while enjoying the freedom they prefer.

All barn cat adopters receive guidance on helping their new cats settle in. We recommend a 2–4 week acclimation period in a secure crate (provided by AoA) so they can safely adjust to their new surroundings before being released. Barn cats still rely on their caretakers for daily food, fresh water, shelter, and veterinary care as needed. Barn cats are $20 to adopt and are spay/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives.

Interested in Lia?
