*Lexi*'s Story

Meet Lexi. This sweet girl has an estimated birthday of March 2024. She came to TEARS as an itty bitty and was a bottle fed baby. She was raised with lots of love and handling.

The word “sweet” doesn’t even scratch the surface when describing this precious girl. Lexi is playful and loves to chase shoestrings and laser pointer lights. She also walks around the house with a toy spring in her mouth growling at anyone in the vicinity so they know that’s her toy. Her growling is never a precursor to action; she just wants to know it’s her spring. Her favorite activity, however, is curling up on a nice warm lap and laying there for hours.

Lexi is a special needs seizure kitty. Since she has consistently been getting her medication, her foster parents have not seen any problems in the time she's been in their care. She doesn’t fight her medication and when her foster family picks her up and carries her around while gathering her pills and pill-popper, she just goes along for the ride and doesn’t try to get away.

Lexi is dearly loved and cherished by her foster family. She will be a priceless addition to any loving family who is willing to care for this truly special special needs kitty.

We are doing a courtesy cross posting of this kitty for our “Friends Group” TEARS of Seminole County. They have taken the responsibility of this cat into their organization and will be overseeing the adoption through TEARS. If you are interested in adopting this particular kitty, please go to www.tearsofseminolecounty.org and fill out their online adoption application. All cats and kittens are current on their vaccines, microchipped, spayed and neutered and ready for adoption. The adoption fee through TEARS is $85. A TEARS representative will be in touch to go over your application and arrange a meeting with the kitty.
