Lexi Domestic Short Hair Mix Ball Ground, GA

Ms. Lexi had a rough start to life, but this 3-year old black beauty has put that behind her and has been waiting for her forever home for far too long. She is super athletic and when given the open space of her foster home, sometimes gets the zoomies! But her favorite thing to do after galloping about, is plop down on her foster Mom's lap for some petting. She particularly likes to sleep on the bed and will do some serious biscuit making. She loves attention and will gently touch her Mom's face with her paw.

Unfortunately, Lexi gets stressed out at the adoption events, and doesn't show her true, sweet personality. She can get along with certain confident cats that don't want to share her space too closely. But being surrounded by cats at the adoption events makes her nervous and keeps her from showing people how friendly she really is. She could easily be content being an only cat that gets lots of one on one attention.

Lexi can be quite vocal when picked up and carried, and is good about going in and out of her carrier for transport. She likes to talk to her human, and enjoys conversation. She has so much personality, and still likes to play with toys. She's been waiting to find her special someone that will accept her on her terms and appreciate her unique personality.
