Leonard's Story

Is this not a face anyone could love?

Leonard is very handsome, but in a rugged way that just emphasizes his character and life experience!
His fur has a gorgeous brown undercoat and his sweet face is speckled with little white hairs.

Leonard has been through a lot in the 5 years he's been alive.
Leonard was dumped in Franklinton when his uncaring owner moved away.
After being rescued, it was discovered he had bad teeth, so many have been pulled. But we're sure it was a relief and now he has a healthy mouth!

Through it all, Leonard has never lost his sweet temperament. Even though he was treated badly, Leonard loves everyone and everything! He is always happy and is an expert biscuit maker! You won't find a more sweet and affectionate boy who is also very trusting!
He even gets along with other cats and dogs!

Leonard tested positive for the FIV virus, but do not fear! FIV cats that are well taken care of can live very long happy lives! It just means their immune system is compromised, but they can live with other cats. FIV is usually transmitted through a deep bite wound when cats fight, so friendly cats are no risk to each other. FIV is also NOT contagious to humans, and is not transmitted cat to cat by drinking after eating after, or grooming one another.

Come and meet Leonard! You will love him!
