Leo's Story

Leo is a 2-year-old sweetheart who is trying his best to navigate a big life change. After the heartbreaking loss of his owner, Leo found himself in the shelter—a confusing and overwhelming place for a boy who’s used to the comfort of a home. It’s been a tough adjustment, but underneath it all is a loving, curious cat who just needs a chance to feel safe again.

Leo has a gentle, affectionate side and enjoys attention once he’s feeling comfortable. He’s also a curious little guy who likes to observe what’s going on around him—taking everything in with his adorably quirky, bug-eyed expression that only makes him more endearing.

Like many cats going through stress, Leo can be a bit of a picky eater right now, but with time, patience, and a cozy environment, he’ll likely settle back into a more relaxed routine. At this time, he doesn’t seem to be the biggest fan of other cats, so he may prefer being your one and only companion, though his preferences may become clearer once he’s out of the shelter.

Leo is looking for a patient, loving home that understands he’s grieving and adjusting. With a little time and a lot of kindness, this sweet boy is sure to blossom into a loyal and happy companion.

If you’re ready to give a deserving cat a fresh start, Leo is waiting to meet you—and his adorable little face is sure to steal your heart.
