Leo

Leo was surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society when his family was moving. He is so sweet and co-exists nicely with the other Frosted Felines in our cattery. Even with his friendly personality, Leo has been waiting for months for someone to choose him. He recently enjoyed a two-week Frosted Fling, where we got to learn even more about about him in a home environment , including what a wonderful companion he is. We hope this special boy's forever family is just around the corner. Could it be you?<br/><br/>His foster mom shares:<br/>"Little Leo settled in quite well. This guy is quite animal friendly. He's done well with our dogs, occasionally asking for space if they get too excitable with him. Our cat isn't the most animal friendly girl, and Leo has been such a respectful gentleman by giving her space.<br/><br/>Leo loves the bed in our guest bedroom and regularly ventures out into the living room now. He loves when I open our back door or window and let him take in the outdoor breeze, sights, and smells. He uses his litter box like a pro. No accidents at all.<br/><br/>Poor guy's front paws are declawed, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He still loves to make little biscuits. He loves food and treats. He scopes out our cat tree for leftover treats that our cat leaves behind. <br/>Leo loves when a back door or window is open, and he can take in the sights and smells from outside through the screen.<br/><br/>Leo enjoys pets! Hold your hand in front of him first, and he will head butt and purr if he's interested. He does not like to be picked up but will lay next to you happily. I believe he would do best in a home with teens and older. A family who can read cues on when he is done with pets or overwhelmed would be ideal. I also believe the quirks will continue to improve as he settles into a home, building trust with his people.<br/><br/>Leo is very quiet and will give the occasional meow to greet you, especially if you start chatting with him.
