But one day, their dog attacked me—mauling me so badly that it shattered my jaw. I was bleeding. Broken. In excruciating pain. And I’ve returned to my natural state: a certified, unapologetic orange menace.<br/><br/>I wreak havoc daily. I launch sneak attacks from laundry baskets. I patrol the window sills like I own the place (because, let’s be honest, I kind of do). I chase shadows. I knock stuff off counters. I yell into the void. I zoom around at 3 a.m. I am exactly what you expect when you say “orange cat.”<br/><br/>But I’m also sweet. I love my kitty friends. I’ve lived around dogs—even big ones like 80-pound Golden Retrievers—and I do just fine. Despite what happened to me, I haven’t let fear win. I still want to love and be loved.<br/><br/>I’ve been around kids, too, and I could do well with them—just know I can play a little rough.
