Leda (three legs)'s Story

Leda is 2 years old. She loves playing. She does great with all other cats, small dogs, and people. She does suffer from permanent grump face but don't let it fool you! She is the sweetest girl.<br/><br/>Leda was wandering around as a stray for 4 months. During this time, she had a flea collar wrapped around her neck and front leg. The rescue tried heal the damage to her leg for three months, unfortunately it was beyond what could be done with our vet staff and she had to have her leg amputated. She is fully healed and gets around perfect with out!<br/><br/>They are fully vetted. Full vetting covers FIV/Feline Leukemia combo tests (They are negative), spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, fecal test and deworming, health check-up, medications, microchip, and flea prevention.<br/><br/>ADOPTION APPLICATION:<br/>forgottenfelinesrescue.org

Forgotten Felines Rescue's Adoption Policy
Forgotten Felines Rescue of Louisiana operates a public-facing facility that is open by appointment only. Many of our kittens are cared for in foster homes. We only schedule meet-and-greets for approved applicants, and meet-and-greets are not available for cats currently in foster homes. Our adoption fees for adult cats and kittens vary based on age and breed and include spay/neuter, FIV/Feline Leukemia combo testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, fecal testing and deworming, flea prevention, and a full veterinary health check. Our adoption fees for adult dogs and puppies also vary by age and breed and include spay/neuter, heartworm testing and preventative, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, and flea prevention. Our adoption process is simple and designed to ensure long-term, loving homes. Interested adopters complete an application, which can be emailed or downloaded from our Petfinder page. Once submitted, applications are carefully reviewed, and a member of our team will contact you within 24–48 hours. You can view all of our adoptable pets on our Facebook page and here on Petfinder.
