Leah and Keo's Story
Hi, our names are Keo and Leah! We are PURPLE pawprints, which means we will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for us in our new home:

-Personality: Keo and Leah are both shy and timid. They may take a longer time to feel comfortable with their new family and home. Once they are comfortable they love to be petted on their heads.
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, Leah and Keo are a bonded pair. They are required to go home together.
-Can Live with Dogs: No thanks! Dogs are too scary
-Can Live with Kids: Teens are okay as long as they respect Leah's and Keos boundaries. Up to counselors discretion.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Indoor only, they have only been indoors
-History of Litter Box Issues: Only when scared
-Energy Level: Moderate
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope!

Additional Information:
Keo and Leah are very shy and timid. Once they are comfortable, they love to be petted around their faces. They will take a longer time to adjust to their new family and home. Keo and Leah are a bonded pair. They are required to go home together. Leah and Keo will need a quiet and low traffic home. Leah and Keo in the past have urinated outside the litter pan when they are scared. While at the shelter they have been using their litter pan consistently. Leah and Keo have been struggling with fleas and will need continue treatment. Keo needs to loose 6 - 7 pounds and be on a prescription weight loss diet. Leah and Keo are ready for their furr-ever homes!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
