Leaf's Story

πŸ’š Meet Sweet Leaf! 🐾

Leaf is a sweet, chatty five-year-old boy who has come such a long way since arriving in our care. He was found unaltered and suffering from a wound on his neck. Since coming to ECCP, Leaf has been neutered, vaccinated, SNAP tested, and microchipped. His wound is healing nicely, and he has just a couple of doses remaining of his second round of ear medication. He also has a follow-up appointment scheduled for September 22.

Now that Leaf is feeling better, his foster family has been getting to see more and more of his wonderful personality. ❀️

Leaf has become quite the little shadow! He follows his foster family around the house and always wants to be wherever they are. He loves chatting with them, enjoys a few late-night zoomies, and sleeps on their bed every night. πŸ₯° He has even started jumping onto the couch just to sit right between his foster parents!

Leaf isn’t very interested in toys yet, and he isn’t a fan of being picked up or quite ready to be a lap cat. But he clearly loves being close to his people. As he continues to feel safe and secure, we’re confident this sweet boy will keep blossoming. πŸ’š

Leaf would thrive as the only cat in a quiet home with children over 12. He would also do best with someone who is home more often than not, since he really enjoys having his people nearby.

Leaf is looking for a patient, loving family who will let him settle in at his own pace and continue building his confidence. In return, you’ll have a loyal little shadow, a wonderfully chatty companion, and a sweet boy who just wants to be near his people. πŸΎπŸ’š

πŸ’š 5 years old
πŸ’š Neutered
πŸ’š Vaccinated
πŸ’š SNAP tested
πŸ’š Microchipped
πŸ’š Wound healing nicely
πŸ’š Sweet & affectionate
πŸ’š Very chatty
πŸ’š Loves following his people around
πŸ’š Sleeps with his foster family
πŸ’š Loves being near his people
πŸ’š Only cat
πŸ’š Best with children over 12
πŸ’š Quiet home
πŸ’š Someone home more often than not

Leaf is ready to find the forever family he’s been waiting for.
