LeRoy's Story

This handsome tabby is LeRoy! He is around 7 years old and was originally adopted from the Franklin Township Animal Shelter as a kitten, but recently surrendered as his owners were moving and couldn’t take him along. LeRoy is a gentle giant of a cat who would love to find an adult-only home or one with older kids. He’d like nothing more than to be a contented couch potato! LeRoy is not fond of other animals so he needs to be the only pet. LeRoy is neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
