He was found near death in a barn, but after just a few days of supportive care by a wonderful foster mom, he made a miraculous recovery—and has been full of love ever since.

He’s incredibly friendly, playful, outgoing, and curious. Lazarus starts purring the moment you speak to him or give him a gentle touch. He loves his toys and gets along well with other cats.

Lazarus has a slight head tilt due to cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a non-progressive condition that affects balance and coordination. It isn’t painful and doesn’t worsen over time. Because of this, he prefers not to climb or jump and will do best in a home with a few simple accommodations, such as easy-to-reach food and water bowls, soft rugs or mats for traction, and low-entry litter boxes. Lazarus, by the way, has perfect litter box manners—with zero accidents! He truly is an amazing kitty!!!!

Kittens adopted from the Alliston and District Humane Society are vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and litter box trained. Lazarus has also already been neutered!!!

Lazarus is a resilient, affectionate little guy who will reward his family with endless purrs and companionship.
