Lazarus's Story

Lazarus was an outdoor cat that decided he wanted to live indoors. he wandered into a garage where he was fed until placed into a foster home. He really loves other friendly cats. we often catch him, rubbing up on the other cats and snuggling them. it took him a little bit longer to accept human love. When comfortable, he now seeks attention and pets. it might take him a little bit of time to get comfortable in his new home. He does best with older kids, who understand that he is nervous at first and that he needs some space and patience. Once he is comfortable, he is a love bug. he is not a cat that is going to greet visitors. He keeps to himself when there is chaos in the house. He is very food motivated so it's pretty easy to win over his heart. He loves meal time and snacks. He tolerates our dogs, but puts them in their place. He's fine with them being around as long as they leave him alone.
